Ben Holcombe
Ben joined the company during summer 2021 with 5 years’ experience gained from a variety of projects in the UK and internationally.
He has worked on many environmental noise impact schemes for planning, ranging from residential schemes of all sizes to complex multi-unit distribution centre schemes, including the preparation of noise chapters for environmental statements in these. Ben also works on acoustic design schemes, internal noise troubleshooting and has a wide range of experience in aviation.

In our battle against a major company’s plans to install a concrete processing plant and a gas fired peaking plant on a site next to housing estates, playing fields, a hospital and a school, we were desperate to find professional expert help….
Suono were wonderfully responsive and, as we had very limited funds from the donations of local people, they kindly agreed to help us at a reduced ‘community rate’.
They helpfully staged their input and costs as our case progressed, starting with an initial, high level assessment of the developer’s application and our objections, moving on through exchanges with our pro bono barrister to work up the case and culminating with the production of an excellent assessment report and a winning performance as part of our team at the public hearing.
